The Arctic Sun is one of our key Supplemental Lights. As the name suggests, it produces a blinding white light which we believe is key in disrupting the growth patterns of unwanted mold and mildew, as well as additional light.

PURPLE RAIN SUPPLEMENTAL LIGHT

The Purple Rain is the king to our Arctic Sun queen. As the name suggests, this supplemental produces a radiant purple light; it is like a magic wand containing red and blue light. Long gone are the days of 3W Red and Blue LEDs.

MISTER FROSTY SUPPLEMENTAL LIGHT

The Mister Frosty is used more sparingly than Arctic Sun or Purple Rain, but it is no less pertinent to the overall success of a flowering plant. As the name suggests, it supplies a cold blue light to fill out the Far-Blue and Ultraviolet spectrums. It does not contain harmful UV radiation, which harms all living things.

QUICK FINISH SUPPLEMENTAL LIGHT

The Quick Finish is our most specialized supplemental light. As the name would suggest, this light is used to quickly finish a plant's flowering life cycle. It is designed to be turned on for 15 minutes after the rest of the lights go out and produces a visible red glow and invisible infrared radiation. Without this supplemental, plants would take an additional 2 hours to go into sleep cycle after the lights are out.

Why not use a standard par meter?

The PAR meters on the market today do not provide an accurate measurement for our LED horticultural lighting system and lighting protocol. Some PAR meters on the market today have a spectral range of 410 to 655nm and some 400 to 700nm. Our LED system spectral distribution extends beyond 700nm and below 400nm.

Another limitation of the PAR meters on the market today is that the measurement is restricted to a small area at one time. The Green Fusion LED SSU light meter is able to measure an area of one linear meter simultaneously using multiple detectors (up to 12 sensors) and displays the proportional light output.
